Care and washing guide
Care instructions
To ensure a long service life for the product, the product should always be washed at the temperature indicated for it. Our products have a washing label with recommended washing instructions. Gloveshirt's products are always made from high-quality materials, and by following the care instructions, our product is also a pleasure to reuse. Ultimately, however, the age of the products is influenced by the consumers themselves.
Merino wool
Our merino wool products include gloves, hats and tube scarves from our winter collection. We recommend removing the tassels from the headgear during washing. Gloves should not be removed from the shirt. The washing instructions have been drawn up according to the least resistant material of the product. We do not recommend using bleach or fabric softeners on our knitwear.
Merino wool cleans itself. Air out and remove possible individual stains after using the wool product to minimize washing times and wash only when necessary. Hand wash in lukewarm water with a gentle squeeze or in the washing machine with a wool wash program max 30° C. Light spin, no tumble drying. Use only wool detergent or olive oil soap intended for wool.
Work while damp and dry on a flat surface to prevent stretching. Avoid drying in direct sunlight or next to a radiator. The nature of wool includes pilling if it is subjected to friction. Lint can be prevented by using lint removers and lint combs and brushes to remove other dirt. Prefer a clothes steamer instead of ironing. To avoid merino wool stretching, we recommend storing the products by shearing. If necessary, you can treat the product with a wool conditioner.
